Hard to put down!!! (5 stars)
Excellent!! Finally, a game for which you pay for once and you can play as much as you want, without all the freemium hassles!! The graphics are great and the soundtrack is awesome!! The game levels are very well laid out, but can be challenging at times. The time trials can get very challenging, because you only have a minute to achieve a goal. This is a respectable port of the console hit from a summer or two ago. Like others have reported: the game's top speed seems to be governed a bit; you must re-select Difficulty, Stage, Music, et. al. to your liking *each and every time* you play (even when repeating/restarting the same challenge); Leaderboards don't update in real time; and you can't adjust Game and Music sounds (they're either On or Off). This game is pac-man at his best. I only wish they had a couple choices for the controls. The swipe seems to work surprisingly well but the bombs aren't as quick to pull off as I would like. Not sure but possibly a button, double tap or quadrant to hit for bombs would work. Regardless this is a great game and a worthy to be in any gamers collection! Oh, and your progress and score show across all iOS devices, which I know I appreciate.
