Great app but why is there no where to view your calendar?

I was wondering there was a plan to do do any of the following.

1.) Design a GUI Specifically for the iPad rather than leverage the web interface. To me the current design muddles an other wise awesome CRM TOOL.

2.) Design a straight forward calendar interface
rather than leverage the web interface.

I know that salesforce wants to stick with their "no software" philosophy, but that isn't going to cut it in the mobile world. No one wants to be using a browser on their iPad to access their client data and calendar. The only way that will work is if they develop a mobile based website with bigger link buttons and ease of use.
