Description

Be the last hope against the mutant infestation. Enter the aftermath of a scientific experiment gone horribly wrong.

Xenowerk comes from Pixelbite, the creators of Space Marshals. It is a top-down action shooter challenging your combat skills in an underground science lab. Descend deeper into the abyss and explore the tarnished levels. Armed with a flashlight as your main guidance, youll never know whats lurking in the dark!

MISSION
Your objective is to destroy all the nests and eliminate all mutants to prevent them from spreading.
Xenowerk has 50 levels to explore with increasing difficulty. As progressing through the game youll come across a growing number of mutants and expanding areas to cleanse.

ARSENAL
Heavier firepower and thicker armor is critical to stay alive on your journey. Gather pickups from slain mutants to power up weapons and armor.

SPECIAL POWERS
Xenowerk features a set of special powers to boost your offensive when youre in need. Activate one or several at a time for a more effective way to wipe out mutants.

OUTSTANDING!! A Game Deserving of App Store Attention. (5 stars)
I bought Space Marshalls, but never really played itI tried but it was too slow w/too little action & failed to pull me in. This, however, gets right into the action & stays there!! I also hate it when games feel the need to have "stories" & people who give bad reviews b/c of a lack of a good "story." If u want a story, watch a movie or read a book. I play video games for action!! I also like the controls

I did have an issue with freezing/crashing, but after the developers responded (incredibly quickly I might add-less than 12 hours after saying something about it), I deleted and reinstalled and the game ran smooth as butter after that. If you're familiar with Pixelbite's games, Xenowerk is like a full-on arcade version of Space Marshalls. Take out the stealth, add a bunch of quick moving enemies and you've got this wonderful gem. Pixelbite is quickly becoming one of my favorite developers in the App Store. Their last game Space Marshals may have been kind of short but as far as gameplay goes it was top notch in the twin stick shooter department and the stealth added something that you don't see too often in the genre.
