Whether you play guitar, bass, mandolin, or any other stringed instrument, in order to truly get the most out of your playing you need to know the positions of all the musical notes on the fretboard.

Fret Notes is a fun quick game where you get a random string and fret of your instrument presented, and you indicate which note that would be in order to progress. This unique, award winning method of learning has helped dozens to not only learn the entire fretboard of their instrument, but also greatly improve their improvising and music writing skills. For example if Fret Notes presents to you: E (6th) string 2/12 fret, the note and correct answer would be F#.

SETTINGS: You can adjust the settings to perfectly reflect the (custom) setup of your instrument; whether you play 6-string guitar, 5-string banjo, 4-string bass, 5-string bass, 6-string bass etc., Fret Notes supports it all! Simply select which strings you would like to practise; if on guitar you have trouble identifying the notes on the 1th and 4th string for example, select these strings in the settings and you can practise just these strings!

CUSTOM TUNINGS: You can input the custom tuning of your instrument, like DADGAD for guitar for instance, and Fret Notes will adjust to this tuning automatically.
