What's New in Version 3.6.2

Push notifications for news updates are now available by category for News, Sports, Business and Entertainment. These can be activated by going to "Settings/Boston.com" on your device or "More/Settings/Push Notification" within the app.

General performance updates and bug fixes are also included in this build.

New version unusable... (1 star)
App tries loading content for maybe 10 seconds and then crashes. And, assuming this new version is similar in the following regard to the previous version, it may be wise to add a feature wherein a user could specify the text size of headlines so that we're not forced to see them in 100 billion kajillion point, as I noticed you recently implemented. Thanks!

Crashes (2 stars)
App now crashes after reading an article and then going back to the main screen. Restarting didn't solve. Worked perfectly before the update tonight...now hampered.

Still awful, but teeny bit better (1 star)
New update: when you hit the back button, it brings you back to top of last page. This needs to be fixed. Some articles don't load, this happens frequently with the health news. Some articles are so old. This isn't north Dakota, there's plenty of news. Add more sections. There have been like 10 iterations of this app; maybe it's time to have an expert work on it. In this time, the rating for this app has never been above 2 stars. I mean, wha
