Sustainability Aware is a series of educational apps made to inform and engage kids about our environment and our impacts on the Earth. In Animals Under Threat, we look at how climate change is threatening species around the world.

In this app well learn about:
adaptation and how animal species cope with problems like environmental change
climate change and global warming
animal extinction
the fragility of Earths ecosystems
the ramifications of species extinction for the planet and why we should care.

Then well dive into looking at certain animal species and how they are being affected by climate change. Well cover animals including:
birds
bees
frogs and toads
fish
koalas
pandas
polar animals
turtles
butterflies
beasts of the wild (like tigers, gorillas and elephants)

Reading level: Approximately 810 years old, Australian middle to upper primary school level. Suitable for guided reading and classroom use.
