Take control of a one-armed warrior named Sasha, wielding a living sword on her journey through a nightmare world in search of her family.

Severed is an awesome game from an awesome game developer who previously made such awesome games as Guacamelee and Mutant Blobs. While Severed does not match Guacamelee (personal game of the year 2013), it's an awesome REAL video game on iOS, something that has become somewhat of a rarity these days. The visual style is awesome and the ambiance is great. The swipe gameplay works well.

Easily a no brainer!!! (5 stars)
It's been awhile since I wrote a review in the app store and by far this game is a must have for anybody who considers themselves a avid gamer. Easy to pick and use great graphics. I recommend using your headphones to play but you don't necessarily need them. Best game I purchased so far this year in the app store. Well worth $6 I'd pay $15 for this gem. Hurry and buy before the price probably gets that high!

Tap and swipe reborn! (5 stars)
This game has it all. Graphics, action, puzzle, and story line to keep you engaged. It's like an old fashioned dungeon crawler with a samurai jack flair. Upgrades and secrets keep you going. The action is continuous and the fighting reminiscent of Infiniti blade with each monster having unique attributes. Great game! Couldn't put it down.
