Fun with the kids (5 stars)
My kids (8 and 6) have a good time playing with my wife and I. We own the board game, but love how easy it is to put the iPad on the table and play a game. The way the game screen orients itself for four players in party mode is genius for playing with folks huddled around the iPad.

Not very good (1 star)
The PC game is great, the iPad game is NOT!!!! The graphics are not very good and it is boring!!!

Basically a Spin Game (1 star)
Although the graphics are good, the iPad version of Life is Not nearly as fun as the board game. A lot of cards are played automatically for you and there's absolutely zero strategy to this game. You basically spin through and see what the computer delivers. The iOS version needs to put more power in the hands of the gamer. Until then the game is essentially lacking in what gives Life all it's charm in the first place.
