Absolute Healthy Diet Nutrient Tracker: Fish by First Line Medical Communications Ltd

Absolute Healthy Diet Nutrient Tracker: Fish Screenshots

Description

Keep track of the fish you eat as part of your recommended 2 to 3 4oz portions of a variety of fish each week and their nutritional impact on you in terms of calories and percentage recommended daily allowance (%RDA) or amount of fiber, carbohydrate, sugars, protein, fat (including saturated, monounsaturated, polyunsaturated, omega-3 and cholesterol), calcium, iron, potassium, sodium, and vitamins A, B9 (folate), B12, C, D, E, and K. This beautifully designed healthy diet tool also provides essential nutritional information for 46 fish and a healthy diet and recommended advice about eating fish with very high, high, and moderate mercury content.
Tap the Track tool on the top menu bar, select the date, set the gender icon, then follow the instructions to select fish. Select your preferred weight unit (g or oz), then complete the weight (use the weight estimation guide if necessary), for a display of the Nutrient Running Total for each nutrient. Tap on any nutrient in the display to find out the individual contribution of any fish in the quantity youve defined as either %RDA or amount (you choose). Tap the menu bar to find out more about the nutrient. Tap any food in the Contribution screen for the calories and nutrients provided by the individual fish in the quantity youve set. Tap on the fish name in the top menu bar for detailed nutritional information about the fish including its heart-healthy score and useful hyperlinks to essential nutrient knowledge and other essential information.
Essential nutritional information and knowledge about the 46 fish can also be accessed through the colour-coded Venetian blind opening screen where fish are sorted according to the %RDA of each nutrient they contain per 100g and in an A to Z too.
Use the bookmark function to archive favourites.
The interface is easy, quick, and intuitive to navigate, colour-coded, searchable, zoomable using the pinch screen function, and viewable in portrait and landscape.
Specially edited and designed for iPhone, iPad, and iPod screens. Compiled and edited by UK-registered medical editor Dr Lindy van den Berghe, BMedSci, BM, BS; software design by Dr Sven van den Berghe, PhD.
