Description

This app is designed to help the person following the Paleo diet, Gut and Psychology Syndrome (GAPS) protocol, SCD, Weston A. Price, or other protocols or diets, on the path toward greater health. The app's purpose is to be a clear template on which the person may record his/her status and eating habits. It allows tracking for multiple users (for instance, oneself and one's spouse or children).

Although most of the cognitive work involved in deciding which foods to avoid or why symptoms improve is left to the individual (aided by the resources of books, wise friends, and practitioners), the app does provide a simple report that may assist in the process. In addition, there is search to quickly bring up old notes and records.

Features:
- track food daily and record your response to it
- track supplements and supplement quantity per day
- track the status of symptoms on a worst-to-best scale
- record notes for each day
- view daily summary reports
- track for multiple users

NOTE: This app does not currently provide lists of foods to avoid or recommended foods. It does not provide tips or instructions for any diet. It simply aids in the process of following one!

The app does NOT require sign in. There are no ads or hidden fees. This app is in active development, as of July 2013, so please feel free to send feedback through the app (the best way) and to positively rank the app here in the store. Thanks!

The idea for this app was born from the developer's own journey through the GAPS Intro diet and his frustration with his inability to keep track of what he was eating, what to eat next, notes, etc. As a web developer and recent iOS developer he began to think about building something that would be useful for the iPhone. The result is "Healing Paths."
