Description

**Voted #1 Pharmacy App by iPhone Life Magazine (Nov/Dec 2011 Issue)**

'Drug Information for the Rest of Us'

PocketPharmacist was created by, well, a Pharmacist. The founder of Danike, Inc. holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and is a licensed Pharmacist.

Our goal is to help people better understand prescription medications in order to minimize interactions, side effects, and unnecessary drug therapy.

To date, we have personally summarized the most commonly prescribed medications in the United States (over 1,150 medications). This number continues to grow each month.

When we summarize a medication for PocketPharmacist, we are extremely careful to only include the information that we would want our families or friends to focus on. Therefore, you can be confident that you are not getting bogged down with unnecessary information.

Med Check, the latest addition to PocketPharmacist, is a groundbreaking new way to ensure medication compatibility. It automatically alerts you to potentially life-saving interactions, precautions and side effects for two or more medications. Best of all, Med Check is easy to use AND understand.

PocketPharmacist also features the easiest to use medication organizer, Pillbox. Pillbox helps to keep track of your medications, allergies, Doctors and pharmacies. It is great for:

- Organizing medication lists for your parents, your clients, or yourself.
- Answering the age old question, "Did I already take/give ________?".
- Determining compatibility between current, or newly prescribed, medications.

PocketPharmacist also contains links to full prescribing information, two pill identifiers, a medical dictionary, spanish translated materials and much more.

For less than the price of a cup of coffee you can put a stop to medication confusion.

Customer Reviews

Great app, very useful (5 stars)
I work at an assisted living facility with adults in psychosis. I use this app daily, to look up side effects and drug interactions. I love the option for password protected client files. Incredibly useful!! Only thing-- I would like to see withdrawal effects as well.

Awesome App!!! (5 stars)
This is an Awesome App ... I love it!!! Thank you So Much for all the work you have put into this App!!!

Very Informative articles too!!!
Love all the features!!! Med Chk for interactions, list of meds, provider/pharmacy info in profile. The email of Profile is Great... My husband can have access to my meds list and provider/pharmacy info directly on his phone and we can print it out for Dr's Offices or Emergencies. Love how

Great so far (5 stars)
This app was a 5 star even before Pillbox and now need to add all my 14 prescriptions for interaction. It had all my drugs so far. I am just starting to recover from a reaction to Lamictal and want to make sure the others do not interact with each other. <<Please Read Rant Coming Up>>.

I never reviewed apps before a few weeks ago. IMO the app store is turning to garbage. Developers are lying in their description, add
