Customer Reviews

Useful but not precise (3 stars)
It's ok for hiking but not reliable for something with a greater need for accuracy, like construction

Pocket compass (5 stars)
In my opinion this App is useful and convenient. If you have your phone you have some sort of compass should you need one. It would not be my first choice for serious navigation especially in mountains. Nonetheless my wife and I relied upon it last Fall to hike in Aspen and we found our way back!

Fair value (4 stars)
Would be more useful if you could correct for local compass variation and if you could change the format of the GPS readout from DMS to decimal degrees and Degree-minute-decimal minutes so as to usable with nautical charts without converting. Ability to indicate a head-up or North-up mode would be a nice touch.
