Customer Reviews

Perfect for altitude (5 stars)
I have been using this app throughout Tibet and it has been great. At the entrance to Mt. Everest park it showed the altitude with two meters of what was on a Nomad's tent. And it constantly displayed changes as I went up and down the mountains. If you just want altitude, which is why I got this app, then go now further...this is the one to have and use.

Only good for verifying elevation of a place already visited (3 stars)
This app is only good for either finding a specific points elevation, one that you already are planning on visiting or looking up elevations of places you just drove by.
It isn't any good when it comes to trying to locate low lying elevations or high ones in order to plan a trip, as you can only click on a specific point, leading to having to click too many points to get a sense of the topo.
I have found some use for it in photograp

Doesn't completely work (1 star)
This app won't acquire elevation. It only pulls from USGS data.
