The Chicago Tribune iPhone app content is divided into sections. But you are in control of what you see first. If you want sports news or business news first, simply go into the Settings screen and choose Reorder sections. Here you can reorder and turn off sections as you wish while always having the option to change them again later.

Ads are annoying (2 stars)
Flashing ads are really distracting. Know you got to make money but do nt like the flashing ads. Deleting app!

Bad, or just bad content? (2 stars)
Fully 1/3 of of the 'news' content is summary text and a link to another site.
Best part?
Most of the other sites (WSJ, NYTimes, Crain's, USA Today) do not allow you to access their content without a subscription / registration.
I'm not a shill for, or even a fan of, the Chicago Sun-Times. But that is a better user experience than this frustrating mess.

I very much like this most recent version. It is easier to handle than any other newspaper app which I have.
