Customer Reviews

It's a good start but it can improve (3 stars)
It is really awesome to browse the SF Chronicle on the iPad. Navigation is really easy. The effect to change sections is nicely done. The pictures on retina display are amazing.

A couple things I really do not like:

First, ads are popping up in full screen at random times while going though the pages. It breaks the flow and it's really annoying. More over, the button to close the ad ("Tap to close") does not work

Ok App but why pay? (2 stars)
I downloaded the free 14 day trial and so far its a great app. The only thing I don't understand is that why pay for this app when you can just go to web site to get news. Why can't this app be free like other news apps or like the New York Times.

Please make the app free

Random example (3 stars)
Watching Anthony Dixon cry months after the Niners exited the playoffs is not an inspiring sight. Did you lose the guy who was supposed to tell you that or are you just asleep at the switch?
