A notice for users of the current USA TODAY iPhone app (version 1.9):

The USA TODAY for iPhone version 2.0 app is being made available as a new download. It will install as a new USA TODAY app, rather than as an update to the existing app. You are encouraged to delete the existing app (version 1.9) as it will become unsupported beginning in April 2012 and will stop functioning shortly thereafter. We hope you enjoy the new app!

Good if you give it a chance (4 stars)
Like others have you can flip the text settings back to black on white. You have to tap one or two extra times to get to stories (the horror!), but you also get MORE stories in a sub-category that you're interested in. I love how the ads disappear when you scroll. That is much appreciated.

Since I've downloaded this new USA Today, it has gone to my home page, because it's one of the best news apps out there! The way the new design is along with this latest update with section to section swiping, it's the easiest news app to get around! Love the text size control along with night and day reading (noticed other reviews that complain about they don't like the black on white, well hello go to settings and change it to day reading

Nice Eye Candy. Missing Features (2 stars)
Another program that upgrades with a focus on looks instead of substance. Navigation is OK, but it was fine before. How can you have an app that does not work on landscape mode?? I just received an alert but can't find the article I was alerted to - bizarre and poor functionality.
