I was very happy to see this I only wish it'd at least allow be to open a single page of this before abruptly going "MUST PURCHASE TO VIEW" so thanks for my wasted time & data, you won't get a dime from me

Newsstand integration... Not quite (1 star)
Apparently having a paid subscription is insufficient to actually download current content. Previous issues appear to work fine but not the new one. The app repeatedly asks for authentication ( which I know is correct since I can log into the web site) and repeatedly reports I do not have a subscription. Maybe they should tell my mailman to stop dropping off the paper version then.

Does not have its act together (1 star)
This month's S&T editorial announced the availability of the iPad edition to print subscribers. Alas, I only get "authentication error" when trying to gain access using my account/password that works with the desktop computer. Frustrating. I don't know why Astronomy magazine has such a simple and trouble-free iPad publication (it just works) but S&T can't seem to get it together.
