not your grandfather's magazine (1 star)
i used to get the USNWR magazine for years and was impressed with it's hard hitting articles and depth of coverage. In contrast this edition is superficial and unsupported by anything more than the simplest illustrations. It was as if a couple of college freshman had sat down after watching a newscast and wrote a summary of the days events, and uploaded it to my iPad under the banner of US NEWS WEEKLY. I would make that read US NEWS WEAKLY.

Content is watered down ( expected given price ) but very difficult to unsubscribe / cancel autorenew. Don't reward apps that lack integrity where canceling is obfuscated, and hide the ball tactics are used. US News, if your content isn't retaining customers, do you realize your locking tactics are driving potential customers away? What matters journalistic integrity when your apps lack a rudimentary understanding of how to treat customer
