Description

ZIPcodes is a small tool that allows you to browse or search ZIP codes and the corresponding city/state/district/country data on your iPhone or iPod touch.
As you dont require to be online while looking up the ZIP code information, it is in particular useful for iPod touch users without the ability to use EDGE on the way.


Functions:

Worth checking out, but the Maps app does it already, and more accurately (3 stars)
For a free app, this thing is pretty useful. IThe sheer number of countries for which postal code information is offered is impressive. I think it's probably best for getting a general sense of where someone is based solely on their postal code. However, as others have noted, it doesn't have full search capabilities. You can get an idea of all the post codes that might be in an area, but you can't narrow it down further than a city. For
