Description
The Qiang people are the only ethnic group in China to have preserved their original name from early antiquity. 5000 years ago during the Neolithic Age, the Di subgroup of the Qiang who were living along the upper reaches of the Yellow and Huang Rivers had already achieved a high level of civilization. Simply from the example of their beautifully-crafted multi-colored pottery basin, which is decorated with a complex design of five people holding hands and dancing, we can glimpse the high level of civilization attained by the Qiangs early ancestors.
