NOTES

We value our customers' satisfaction and don't want you to make a wrong purchase. Here are a few things to consider before you buy:

The handwriting recognition requires correct stroke order, though it allows a few incorrect strokes for some kanji. Please do not buy this app if you are not familiar with kanji radicals.

Most parts of the app are in hiragana, katakana, and kanji only.

What's New in Version 1.6.4

- Support for the Retina display on the new iPad
- One tap search: tap the Search button on the tab bar to look up a new word immediately
- Backward search by adding * in front of the keyword, such as *学校
- Partial results when there is no exact match. For example, searching for 読売新聞 now returns 読売 and 新聞 instead of single kanjis.
- Lists now use gray color to indicate okurigana instead of using dots. (iOS 5 only)
- Many bug fixes

Best software I've ever used (5 stars)

BEST of all there is no Romaji to inhibit learning, and every kanji has furigana. Everything works with cut/past into and out of other programs.

Fast & easy! Lots of example sentences. This softw

Welcome to the future (5 stars)
I've been studying Japanese on and off (mostly off) for more than 25 years and have shelves full of Japanese dictionaries. I've owned a couple WordTanks and smaller electronic dictionaries and used a variety of software like JEdict on the Mac (which is also great). It looks fantastic on the new iPad's Retina display and the progressive radical search is brilliant

I also like that you can write the character under Kanji look up.

The best thing is that this is a powerful study tool because after look
