Obviously AOL doesn't care about its customers. (1 star)
I paid for the previous app and it got replaced with this.

I see that they added new features but didn't fix the broken ones. .

1. This app is beta quality at best. Why did it replace a stable app?

2. Poor design: Some of us like buddy groups. I had my friends and coworkers in different categories. Many of us don't want to see offline buddies. Why remove useful features and then tell us you are considering

It seems the people at AIM are determined to ignore all the user requests to return this app to a semblance of what we paid for. They took the best instant messenger available and turned it into a poor parody of what the other IM apps are doing.

I quit using this app months ago. Meebo is good, way better than the current version of AIM, but couldn't have held a flame to the old version. At least it has my buddy lists.

To all people who are complaining about the new version. If you're device is jailbroken, you can get the older and better version, get installous. And get the older version of aim. Problem solved.
