REVIEWS:

"We'll jump to the point here and say that we prefer Buster's UI over CTA Tracker's, hands down."
- Ars Technica

"I just picked up Buster. This is the app I've been wanting _before_ I got my iPhone."
- via Twitter

"Buster for the iPhone is a totally awesome app. I highly recommend it if you ride any CTA buses."
- via Twitter

Buster is the quickest, easiest way to find out just how long it's going to take a Chicago bus to get you on your way. Using data provided by the CTA's bus tracker system over your iPhone's EDGE, 3G, or WiFi connection, or your iPod touch's WiFi, Buster lets you know just how long you'll be waiting to board. Want to grab a coffee but not sure if you'll miss your morning bus? Need to decide which routes to take? Don't want to stand in the rain or snow a minute longer than you have to? Buster can help.

It's the perfect app for summer in Chicago- whether you're hitting Pitchfork, Lollapalooza, the Taste, or any of the street fests, Buster can help you get there.

Buster is much quicker and easier than using the CTA bus tracker website--and we think it looks a little neater, too.

Buster also allows you to store your everyday routes for one-click access, and can help you find the closest stops using your device's GPS or WiFi location feature.

Buster currently works with ALL regularly scheduled bus routes.

Customer Reviews

Great app, love new features (5 stars)
love the new features; predictive arrival/mapping of route, ability to set alert, multitasking support, new look....have always loved the accurate arrival times, layout and ease of use! Also really glad the programmers of this app read the reviews--some complained (including myself) that the app no longer started you on your "faves"--update that came out this past week fixed that!!

I'm a little confused by the alert syst

Not as reliable as The CTA website (2 stars)
For certain stops, this app works fine. But I've noticed that the stops around Hyde Park where I work don't give you accurate times. I downloaded this as a concise, one-stop-app for my multi-bus commute, but it was a waste of $2.

It does the exact same thing as the CTA mobile trackers. The buster train tracker even links DIRECTLY to the CTA's train tracker. If I could get my money back, I would.

The most useful app I have (5 stars)
Well worth every penny, it would be worth the money even for visitors to Chicago. Train tracker addition is icing on the cake.

As for the loss of favorites when upgrading, who cares when you have the nearby stops functionality, which takes all of about 1 second longer.
