Customer Reviews

Unhelpful (1 star)
I was extremely disappointed. I bought guides for three cities and didn't even bother trying the third one. Vague, unhelpful and not interactive. No details on sites and restaurants. Does a disservice to the Lonely Planet Brand. Note that most of the five star reviews sound like they were written by a PR department.

Very helpful (4 stars)
GREAT for offline maps - walking around the city without 3G. Has all major attractions on there... I only wish it had a few more "off the beaten path" things to do.
I used it as a navigational guide pretty much every hour of every day while I was in Paris. Ditch the books. Get the app

Useless (1 star)
Poorly written 3rd grade level take on Paris. Zero insight or explanation. It is like they went to an encyclopedia for each topic and then only copied half the entry and then translated it for a five year old.

Notre Dame. It is a crowded christian church. Duh.

If you must have your info from lonely planet go to their website. There they have in-depth takes on locations, something they couldn't be bothered to copy here.
