1.0.1 Updates

Added the ability to disable automatic crash detection to enable Witness Driving to be used on bicycles.
Added a setting to enable auto record upon the press of the big red button. Now after starting the app just press once and then drive.
Added audible warnings for when a crash is detected and when the battery level is too low.
Now automatically stops recording and saves data if the battery charge is close to empty.
Settings screen condensed into one scrollable view to accommodate extra settings and to simplify usability.
Added a battery level indicator to the main recording view so the user can monitor battery levels. Battery indicator only shows when recording so is an added indicator that recording is in process.
Added the ability to hide the controls during recording. On camera view swipe left to hide controls and right to show them again. On map view a small chevron button will appear to use instead of the swipe function due to multi-touch map interaction.
Maps link added to the email function. Now the person receiving your email will have a direct link to your location.
Photo taking within the accident management section has been streamlined to make the process of taking accident snapshots much quicker.

What's New in Version 1.0.3

* Fixed the auto focus problem reported by some users. Now Witness focuses upon start and then the auto focus is disabled to prevent it from trying to continually focus on the windscreen. Tap the screen at any time to re-focus on the tapped point.

* Added HD video support for the iPhone 4S. Now you are able to choose 720p or 1080p from within the settings. However, be aware that this can generate large quantities of video data, so think about shortening your segment length or /and reducing the number of segments.

Not good (1 star)
This app could have potential, but has some serious problems.

1. It superimposes their logo on all your videos with no way to take it off, the ONLY dash cam app that does this. I don't want their logos on my videos. No way to get a clean video with no superimposed data. The glaring logo is ridiculous.

2. Video quality is not that great, this is caused by the superimposing of unnecessary information and stupid logo. Sup

Please remove that USELESS LOGO!! (1 star)
PROS:
1. Can record up to 1hr of rotating video, so you never run out of space.
2. Ability to save segments out of rotation before exporting so they don't get overwritten.
3. GPS coordinates shown on video and ability to track on google maps later.

CONS:
1. Crashes when exporting with sound on 3GS (works on my iPhone 4)
2. No 720p option on my 4 but shows on 4s
3. Can't listen to music while this records sou

Saved Me Hundreds (5 stars)
I was just about to get a $300 dash cam, then I found this app. $0.99 plus a $35 mount and it's just as good as a $300 professional dash cam! The quality is great, sound is clear, and the app is solid.
