Description

The Philips DockStudio app brings a suite of cool, new features to your Philips docking speaker, including playback controls, worldwide Internet radio, a multi-function alarm clock, and a unique weather alert system.

DockStudio lets you easily browse and play your music collection, share what youre listening to with friends on Facebook and Twitter, and control your speakers acoustic properties.

In Radio mode, DockStudio puts more than 7,000 radio stations worldwide at your fingertips. Browse through stations by genre, place or station name; then tune in and expand your musical horizons. DockStudio even lets you look up information about the song currently play by a station.

In Clock mode, DockStudio lets you set multiple customized music alarms and get the latest weather. And in Battery mode, DockStudio helps you keep an eye on how much battery life is left in your docking speaker.

DockStudio is a free app created by Philips exclusively for use with Philips docking speakers and the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. It is not compatible with any other docking speakers.

Radio mode:

- Search for stations and radio programs by music genre, song title, artist, on-air personality, sports team and station call letters
- View current song Information, including song title, artist, album, song and album reviews, and artist bios

- Use Playback and Volume Controls from within the app
- Optimize your music with Sound Setting Controls* (e.g. DDB, Treble, Bass)

Clock mode:
- Choose from Analogue or Digital clock display
- Set Multiple alarms
- Customize alarm with song selection
- Customize alarm display with photo selection
- Get the latest Weather forecast from anywhere in the world

Battery mode:
- Use the Battery health monitor^ to check your docking speakers battery life

Fixed alarm to push local notification to user while the App is not in foreground (non-active).
Fixed sleep timer issue while screen is locked but the App still running in background.

Finally! An Alarm Clock That Work! (4 stars)
I bought this docking station awhile ago and have never been able to use the alarm clock feature as it would begin but without sound. But now that it has been fixed I can finally use this ap fully.

I have been dealing with Philips since there first update. They blamed apple.then apple released there update and app still doesn't play music as an alarm. Today Philips had an update and STILL NOT WORKING!!! return the product if you can!

I was waiting for this update since I didn't install a previous one, having read all the negative feedback. I believed Philips application management team is following the customer's experience and will take right steps. I lost - it doesn't work the way it used to. Actually, the alarm only goes off if the screen is lit. Guys, it's stupid! I don't need my iPad to be lit all night.
