Description

I live in Tornado Alley in Northeast Oklahoma in a rural area outside the range of audible alarms. I have my own weather station that uploads to the Internet every few minutes and I have purchased a dozen weather apps because I need to know what is going on. MyRadar is the finest application I have found to date at any price to get fast accurate radar feeds. The application is overlaid on a very high resolution map that pinpoints my exact location so I can quickly see where the severe weather is relative to my house. I upgraded to the pro version to get rid of the ads and upgraded to get the pushed alerts as well. This is the first application I go to when I need good radar fast. The small fees to upgrade are not relevant when it comes to protecting myself, my family and my neighbors.

I live in Tornado Alley and love the severe weather alerts. I tell everyone I know about this app!

No more checking the tv at 4:00am to see where the storm is or wondering if I slept through the tornado sirens.

It's latest map update is usually less than ten minutes old Twc app is usually an hour old. And it's free

I use this app just about daily and I must say, I am thrilled. It doesn't overwhelm me with useless features, it just shows me the local radar. I couldn't be happier.

Added Forecast bar; you can now quickly and easily pull up the current conditions and/or forecast for any area around the US. Simply move the map around and center the crosshairs over the desired location, and the current conditions for that area pop up in the upper left hand corner. Tap the icon for the full 5 day forecast; tap it again to dismiss it.

While I like the no ads on the pro version, I feel like the warnings should not be extra. The ad is misleading. Why not just have all of the options for one listed price???
