When the application first loads you get our default splash screen. Simply select your favorite radar and then SHAKE your device to set any radar as your default. You can set a default radar for each region of the country. All radars are organized by region and within each region radars are listed alphabetically by state/city.

Any Tornado or Severe Thunderstorm warnings that are issued, are overlaid on top of the radar echos. These radars are fully featured and are powered by the National Weather Service. All radars load up fast on any type of connection - even EDGE! Now you can see what storms are headed towards you - even on the go! Easily get away from the hail storm that might be coming your way! If your power goes out due to a bad storm, US Radars will have you covered as long as you have a cellular connection.

not quite what I expected (1 star)
Radar images are sharp but I have a couple of suggestions for the developer. Navigation is really slow...even when on wifi. Also, there seems to be no way to customize/specify a map location making it very time consuming and cumbersome to get to the one I relly am interested in. If there is a way it's not obvious. I think it needs a 2.0 update.

Parts of the US just don (1 star)
If you want to know what the weather is in, say Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky--forget it! If you're in the Middle Atlantic, good luck. There are no local apps for these, so when you try to zoom in from the national picture, it just goes away. There are better apps that give you views of ALL of the states, not just the corners and upper central states, which is all this has.

UPDATE: Doesn't help. Middle Atlantic and many portions of the US

Used this one for awhile now it seems to work good,Maybe a few blind spots in the US radar.
